  • Support of our business units at various German locations and close, group-wide cooperation with other departments
  • Handling of financial accounting, in particular posting of all business transactions in the accounts receivable/accounts payable and general ledger areas
  • Processing of current payment transactions, contact person for suppliers and customers
  • Ongoing processing of open items and supervision of the dunning process
  • Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
  • Reconciliation of accounts incl. clearing accounts
  • Contact person for management, banks, insurance companies, auditors and tax authorities etc.
  • Project activity as part of the continuous quality management of the accounting and reporting system


  • Successfully completed commercial training, good knowledge of financial and fixed asset accounting in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and possibly experience with IFRS
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in accounting
  • Confidence in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements as well as commercial understanding
  • Very good understanding of numbers and quick grasp of complex issues and contexts
  • Proven knowledge and confident handling of relevant accounting software, especially against the background of our upcoming migration from DATEV to ERP, payment transaction software, advanced knowledge in Excel, gladly also in other MS Office programs
  • Knowledge in financial software, for example ERP systems and reporting systems (e.g. Lucanet) is an advantage
  • Tackling tasks with a high degree of self-organization and adherence to deadlines
  • Efficiency and quality as drive, calmness and collegial cooperation as basic attitude
  • Analytical mindset and openness to new knowledge and methods
  • Flexibility, team and communication skills
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
