  • Professionally experienced and operationally committed active participation in shaping our company’s development
  • Management of the areas of finance and accounting, taxes, purchasing, liquidity and risk management as well as commercial IT application fields with responsibility for the European business unit with three locations in Germany
  • Leadership and competence center around IFRS/HGB accounting, group policy development, accurate and timely reporting, business planning, financial and investment management
  • Ensure and develop the commercial basis for further, integrated business growth in close cooperation with the CFO, the US business unit and Group Controlling
  • ERP-based coordination of company-wide, decentralized purchasing processes
  • Optimization and digitalization of our commercial processes by mastering existing information technologies and those being implemented
  • Proactively driving and helping to shape change processes in the area of responsibility thanks to an in-depth understanding of our business model


  • Academic degree, relevant technical knowledge, several years of professional experience with progression, possibly in an internationally active company and/or a relevant consulting firm
  • Sound and demonstrable technical knowledge in national and international accounting, taxation, risk management and compliance
  • Experience in organizing and managing accounting and complementary commercial services
  • System-oriented approach through process development, implementation and optimization within the framework of state-of-the-art information technologies
  • Relevant experience in life sciences or similar technical/scientific project services industry a plus; demonstrated willingness to learn, adaptability, and business acumen absolutely required.
  • Fluent written and spoken English and German, also from professional practice
  • Forward and goal-oriented, tackling and driving
  • Professional, transparent, reliable, detail-oriented
  • Analytical-quantitative and conceptual-design skills
  • Fair play leadership talent, team oriented and able to deal with conflict
