Candidate Role

We are seeking a highly talented and driven individual to expand the North America (US and Canada) sales in the biologics and cell and gene therapy space. This is a unique opportunity to join a quickly growing dynamic team undergoing global expansion, and to play a key role in the next stages of organic and acquisitive growth, with a particular focus on the high-growth North American markets. This role will report into the Executive Director of Business Development. Location: East/West Coast; Hybrid-Remote

Key Responsibilities

  • Expand the analytic customer base and sales volume in the assigned territory and markets
  • Assist in the development of direct sales programs for the assigned analytic platforms
  • Develop pipeline with successful new sales bookings to meet/exceed plan
  • Increase the value of current customers while attracting new ones
  • Research organizations and individuals to find new opportunities
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and new clients
  • Collaborate internally with internal operations, sales, and marketing teams
  • Develop sales proposals for clients and achieve short- and long-term sales goals and plans
  • Regularly Assess and report progress in meeting objectives
  • Contribute to development of strategy, tactics, sales plans, and targets
  • Identify and report on business opportunities in target markets
  • Represent the business at virtual and in-person conferences, trade fairs and networking events
  • Maintain compliance with internal policies

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3+ years of relevant industry experience (CRO/Pharmaceutical/Gene and Cell Therapy) in BD/Sales
  • Degree in Life Sciences (e.g., Biotechnology, Biology, Pharmaceuticals) highly desirable
  • Experience with proven BD/Sales success in Biologics and/or Gene Therapy Markets
  • Ability to travel when required
  • Adept at using CRM and other sales technology platforms
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
