William Rash

Senior Director, Business Development

Mr. Rash serves as Senior Director of Business Development at ProtaGene (previously BioAnalytix). He is a commercial leader and serial entrepreneur with 35 years of experience focused on CMC/development of complex biologics. Mr. Rash began his career in the lab as a protein scientist and progressed to global leadership roles in corporate and business development. His expertise ranges from characterization and QC technologies application for pre-clinical and clinical development of recombinant protein biologics to facilities and laboratory operational management to global sales and marketing. With an established career in complex biologics, Mr. Rash is adept at identifying opportunities and working with partners to tap into exciting areas in the biopharma industry.

Before joining ProtaGene, Mr. Rash held roles of increasing technical, corporate, operational, and business development responsibility at Blue Stream Laboratories, Essenix Pharmaceuticals, Charles River Laboratories, Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, Ascent Biotechnology Recruiters, Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania, and Tektagen.

Mr. Rash holds a B.S. in Microbiology from West Chester.
